Tarot for Beginners Workshop

Sunday 6th April 2025   10am-4pm

 Kirton & Falkenham Village Hall

65 Falkenham Road, Kirton, Suffolk IP10 0QW

Come and join me for an insightful introduction to the world of Tarot using the Rider Waite Tarot Deck!

Designed both for the beginner and those wanting to work more effectively and intuitively with their cards, this workshop will acquaint you with your Tarot deck, focusing primarily on the Major Arcana, but also the key roles and elements of the Minor Arcana in the deck.

My name is Toni Jehan, I am one half of Sunflower Angels and am the creator and tutor of this Tarot course. I have been reading the Tarot for over 20 years and combine my knowledge of the cards with my spiritual awareness to create a deeper understanding and connection to not just the cards, but how and why they work with you at all!

Come and gain an understanding of what the Tarot is, how to use it effectively, and what lies behind it to bring you the answers to people's questions.  By the end of the workshop, you should feel more confident about using your cards with personal and traditional meanings for the Major Arcana.  You will leave the day with your own personal workbook to look back on, some different templates of spreads, and some practical experience - yes, you will get the opportunity to read for others!

We will also be discussing some more practical issues like how to prepare for and conduct a Tarot reading, giving you more thoughts and ideas on how to be best prepared for your clients.

So, here are some key points about what your day will include:

  • What is the Tarot?

  • How and why does it work?

  • Understanding the principles

  • The Major Arcana

  • Discerning your meanings

  • Traditional meanings

  • Simple spreads and templates - Dynamics

  • Reading practice

  • Basic overview of the Minor Arcana

  • Understanding the four suits

  • Preparing for a reading

The course will run from 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday 6th October. Please bring your own lunch, we will stop for at least half an hour, and refreshments will be provided free of charge.

Please book and pay via the form below.

I look forward to meeting and working with you.

Toni Jehan
